Case Study: Security Residential Site Hoarding

Residential Site Hoarding

Signcraft was contracted to build and decorate a secure site hoarding for this challenging project. The project was to meet the client's security, safety and advertising information requirements.

The residential site hoarding run was situated on a steady slope. Our team, led by Adam White, used a laser to guide the levels and perpendiculars to determine the necessary site lines. These were essential to build the timber sub structure, which had to correspond with the design of the hoarding.

We worked with our client's dedicated artwork. We carried out the printing process for this installation on our Swiss Q flatbed printer. This printer ensures the best possible reproduction and finish because its ultra high definition and Spot on colour fidelity. The panels were laminated in order to protect the print from graffiti and colour fade. The fully prepared, decorated hoarding was then ready for site installation.

Every hoarding project is as good as the preparation work which, in this instance, provided the biggest challenge. However, installing the panels was therefore the easier part of the job because the groundwork had been meticulously prepared. We are pleased to report that the whole job was a resounding success.

The images below show both the structure stage and the attractive completed site hoarding.
